At 49 years old and the owner of Happy Hounds I have over fifteen years experience in pet care.  As an animal lover, dog owner, fully insured and CRB checked with a friendly and professional attitude; I began dog walking in 2008 and have enjoyed my job ever since!

In brief - as a child raised in the Midlands, I worked weekends with dogs and birds at a local falconry centre before entering full time education.  I left university in 1998 with a degree in Biomedical Sciences.  This was followed by several office jobs, a rewarding ten year experience as a DSA Driving Instructor and a year working for Thames Valley Police Force, before finally giving in to my love for animals.

I feel extremely lucky to be following my passion and working with animals.  I take full responsibility of the pets in my care and always completely honest with you - the owner.

Due to family circumstances we made the move in 2022 to County Durham; bringing Happy Hounds Dog Walking Services across Sedgefield, Trimdon, Bishop Middleham, Coxhoe and surrounding areas.
