FAQ's
Q: How many dogs do you walk at the same time?
A: I believe dogs tend to have most fun (and exercise) when they interact with other dogs. While I am insured to take out larger groups, typically groups of 3 or 4 are taken out in safe surroundings. I carefully select each group to ensure compatibility
Q: Can you walk my dog separately?
A: Yes. As long as I can find a suitable time for your dog. All services can be individually tailored
Q: Can we meet you before we decide anything?
A: Yes. All initial consultations are free and without any obligation
Q: Are you insured?
A: Yes. I am fully insured for dog walking, pet sitting, key cover, public liability (up to £5 million) and injury vet cover. Feel free to ask for a copy of my certificate
Q: Do you look after other animals apart from dogs?
A: Yes I also provide sitting services for cats, small animals, reptiles, fish, birds and some farm animals. For more details click services or contact me for a chat about specific needs
Q: What area do you cover?
A: I can provide dog walking and pet sitting services across areas local to South of Durham including Bishop Middleham, Fishburn, Trimdon, Sedgefield, Coxhoe and all the places in-between
Q: What are your prices?
A: For price details please click prices or navigate via the menu button at the top of the page
Q: How do you deal with security?
A: Keys are kept safe, secure and separated from your personal information to avoid identification. Your personal information will not be passed to 3rd parties. If in the unlikely event of lost keys I would notify you straight away and contact the insurers (I am insured for key loss)
Q: What do you do in case of an emergency?
A: As part of the free consultation visit, I will take emergency contact details including your named vet. If an emergency occurs I would alert you and your named contact immediately, while taking appropriate action
Q: What if my dog doesn't get on with other dogs?
A: I always try to ensure maximum compatibility when selecting for group walks. I will keep you fully informed of any issues and where possible arrange 1-1 walks if required
Q: I only need a few walks every now and then, is that ok?
A: Yes, that's fine. As long as I have availability, I can be flexible for most requirements. The more notice you give me, the more likely I can accommodate your needs
Q: Can you administer pet's medicine?
A: As long as you can provide me with written instructions and confirmation of consent, I am more than happy to administer medication for your pet
